Rock & Metal Day’z 2025 – we did it!

Thursday 26th June

At 17:30, the tractor with the event managers and the president of MA.D.E. for Kids e. V. drives onto the site, the guests are briefly welcomed and the first band is introduced.

Queen Of Distortion

Queen Of Distortion finally takes the stage. Tiffany Bailey is relatively new as vocalist; last year she was a guest at RMD’z, but today she plays here with her band. The 50-minute performance leaves little to be desired, and the audience even demands an encore! The contemporary hard rock with metal elements and female vocals more than convinced the audience already in attendance!

.

Abandoned in Destiny

After a short break for set changes, it’s time for Abandoned in Destiny. They take a slightly harder approach, with the trio preferring a rougher style without losing the melody. Unfortunately, their set is over faster than some would have liked.

.

RMDZ

The third band of the first evening to take the stage are another newcomer, RMDZ. Of course, they are not really that new, as they are an all-star band made up of members from Mysterica, Ravenfield and Wanted Inc., all of whom have already performed as bands at Rock & Metal Day’z. However, today is the first time they are playing together, and they are doing so live in front of an audience.  They play cover versions of various bands and artists such as Motörhead, David Bowie, Metallica and others. The band knows how to please, and the audience is satisfied with the performance.

.

Out The Mouse

The evening concludes with Out The Mouse, the only complete band that has already played with RMD’z. Who doesn’t know them with their free interpretation of pop songs, children’s songs and TV melodies in a metal version? The band is simply fun, entertaining and very audience-friendly. That’s how fun metal works!

.

Shortly after 23:15, the kick-off is over, one last beer or whisky on the infield, and the guests head to the campground to continue partying before the festival continues the next morning at 11:00 so here are some impressiions from Thursday’s audience and the goodbyes of the bands.
