On Sunday 22nd June morning I make my way to the second of three festivals. My car is fully packed for a raid to Oschersleben and Rock & Metal Day’z 2025. As last year, it is going to be a demanding 10 days experience. Now I meet with the others who have been eagerly awaiting this weekend for a year. They are the members of MA.D.E.for Kids e. V. and friends who will be hosting Rock & Metal Day'z 2025 from 26th to 28th June. They are very excited about the new location, the Autocross-Rennstrecke An Den Sieben Bergen in Oschersleben. How will the set-up go, will it be too cramped, are there any uncertainties, or will everything run smoothly?
The Rock & Metal Day'z, a charity event for children in need known far beyond the borders of Saxony-Anhalt, will enter its ninth year in 2025. There are two interesting changes this year to make sure it doesn't get boring.
After the festival is before the concert. Never has this been truer for me than this week. Only a few days after my 15 days festival marathon with Rock & Metal Day’z and Rockharz Festival in a row, I’m ready for the headliner show of none less than Infected Rain from Moldova at Colos-Saal/Aschaffenburg.
Tonight was a night of perfect entertainment. None of the bands was better or worse than the others. Even Infected Rain with their shorter set could enchant the audience on a level equal to both headliners, DragonForce and Amaranthe. I loved that the show tonight was sold out, it gives me hope that the Corona years with half empty venues are history now.
