The multi-genre band is finally home again after the mindblowing tour as support of Iron Maiden and the amazing festival summer. Back to the small clubs means Homecoming for Lord Of The Lost.
Welcome to Sonata Arctica’s Acoustic Adventures MMXXI tour and their special guests Eleine. Is it Metal at all if it comes without distorted guitars? Find out yourself!
Lights go out, Timmy Rough on vocals and guitar, Dizzy Daniels on lead-guitar, Hardy Heart on badass Bass and drummer Urban Berz leave the backstage area, grab their guitars and drum sticks and The New Roses enter the stage at their "Heimspiel" at Schlachthof Wiesbaden during their Sweet Poison tour 2022.
Four metal bands of which all of the musicians are pure eye candy. Nevertheless, skills, hard work and talent over looks, all of them are first of all brilliant musicians, there is no doubt about it. I am talking about Ad Infinitum, Butcher Babies, Amaranthe and Beyond The Black. Stadthalle Offenbach seems to be the adequate size for these four metal jewels. The tour is double headlined by Amaranthe and Beyond The Black and was postponed several times due to you-know-what. Now there are no restrictions and the party can begin.
The Ultima Ratio Fest caravan delivers a set of gems, no, actually of most exquisite crown jewels of harsh metal to our door-step venues in Europe these days. Finnish melancholic metal wizards, Insomnium and the Portuguese gothic metalists of Moonspell share their co-headlining tour in the finest company of Borkagar, Wolfheart and Hinanyana.
In 2020, Bad Religion announced their 40th anniversary tour. Two years later the ‘Godfathers of Punk’ are ready to celebrate it, finally, and after several planned and cancelled rounds due to ‘you know what’ which also explains the tour theme “40 Years + 2”.
Sonata Arctica's "Acoustic Adventures Volume One" is an amazing album and even more an essential landmark in roaring turmoil! It is an reinvention of their classics and a statement against the fast-track life cylce in the metal biz.
An excellent show, a true highlight, Marko Hietala - mostly known as bass player and vocalist of Nightwish - presenting his solo album "Pyre Of The Black Heart" with some of his old friends, Anssi Nykänen (drums), Tuomas Wäinölä (gui) and Vili Ollila (key) supported by Oceanhoarse - a fresh and energetic Heavy Metal band from Helsinki!
