Enjoy three excellent bands in a row: Atavistia's sound is best described as Melodic Death Metal. We get Metsatöll from Estonia and a really fine kind of folk metal. Skálmöld invite you to a journey to the land of unicorns, elves, Nordic sagas and gods. They had just released their latest album “Ýdalir”.

Support your local scene,. Have a look at the local clubs and venues. Check out their programme. Even if the band's music is not 100% to your taste, give it a try. Go and see them for the good of your local music scene. You are the after-Covid generation and it is your duty to revive small clubs and local bands. You pay little money for a lot of music. And you never know, you might have seen the next international superstars at one of their first shows.

Last time I met them on the Rock & Metal Day’z at Oscherleben when they opened the festival on Thursday evening. There they had already announced an autumn tour. Now the time has come, Friday evening, 29th Septmber 2023. We are right here at Café Central in Weinheim for the first show of April Art Change Tour 2023.
Fire Rose – Album Release Party
That is the perfect entertainment, a real Rock and Roll party. Usually, when a show is over and you got to go home, you leave after the last note or latest after buying your piece of merch or a CD. Not this time, Fire Rose join their audience immediately after the show. They also offer a free drink in form of a cask of apple wine to raise the glasses together for the sake of Rock and Roll music. It will take hours until the last guest leaves the venue...

2023 was a good SBOA. It was not perfect in every way, but most people enjoyed good shows by good bands. Tickets for 2024 are already on sale for prices between €200 and €239,99 depending on the date you buy the tickets. The first bands have been confirmed to make a decision easier.

More than 1200 people gather inside Garage/Saarbrücken for a sold out show of Lord Of The Lost. 2023 is their busiest year so far. Album release a day before New Year’s Eve, chart position No. 1 for Blood And Glitter one week later, winning German ESC preliminary competition, the ESC itself, another tour with Iron Maiden are just a few milestones. It is their year, the year of Lotlmania.

SHOCKVAVE 2023 – A Modern Metalcore Extravaganza in Taipei
Shockwave 2023 was a well put together show which showcased very interesting Asian bands and the headliners offered a memorable show. The line-up included Born of Osiris, Within Destruction, Knosis and Prompts.
