I have experienced impressive, sensational Edge Of Paradise. Now I know a little bit, how a stand-in musician must feel when she or he has to learn all the songs of the set list in only a few days. I got to know all their songs in just three days listening to them in rotation again and again without getting bored a single second.
DragonForce speeding up with Amaranthe
Tonight was a night of perfect entertainment. None of the bands was better or worse than the others. Even Infected Rain with their shorter set could enchant the audience on a level equal to both headliners, DragonForce and Amaranthe. I loved that the show tonight was sold out, it gives me hope that the Corona years with half empty venues are history now.
Ignea travelling with Ghosts of Atlantis, Butcher Babies and Fear Factory
I experienced four excellent bands though I focused on one band in particular. Ignea deserved and deserve all the attention they get and I really, really hope to see them again rather sooner than later with a full set. That doesn’t mean, I didn’t like the other bands, I just had my priorities with them.

Chris Maragoth’s Gatherer of Souls has introduced me to another version, another world of Metal. It is complex, it is melancholic. The album is very different. Four metal bands of which all of the musicians are pure eye candy. Nevertheless, skills, hard work and talent over looks, all of them are first of all brilliant musicians, there is no doubt about it. I am talking about Ad Infinitum, Butcher Babies, Amaranthe and Beyond The Black. Stadthalle Offenbach seems to be the adequate size for these four metal jewels. The tour is double headlined by Amaranthe and Beyond The Black and was postponed several times due to you-know-what. Now there are no restrictions and the party can begin.
