For the June News we are going to focus on some open air festivals we have in mind. The first festivals went quite smoothly, regardless of the weather conditions, we just mention M.I.S.E. Open Air in Büssfeld/Germany and Metalfest in Pilsen/Czech Republic.
We quote Fabienne Erni, vocalist of Eluveitie here: “Man, it was raining the whole day. During our set it got less – but today in the morning especially it was raining LIKE CRAZY. How is it in your country?”
To answer her question, it is not different here. Hopefully the weather will be better for the next festivals. If not, get ready to be waterproofed.

Read our report about setting up this intimate festival here.
And if you want to know about last year’s edition, read it here.
It is a charity event for children with cancer, so not only the very well chosen line-up is worth going there. The RMD’z offer you a free stay on their campsite until you get to the last of our recommendations, just 45 km away.
.
Rockharz Festival
Rockharz Festival, Ballenstedt/Germany from 3 – 6 July. July is one of the bigger events on our list and all camping is sold out. https://www.rockharz-festival.com/
Day tickets for single days without camping are very limited, so be quick or you might be too late.
Check out our preview here for more details and read our report on the 2023 edition here.
We will be busy at Rock & Metal Day’z as part of The Crew and at Rockharz Festival, so there will be no July-news, but we will feed your appetite for metal with reports and pics afterwards instead.
