Magic Bike Rüdesheim

After a two-year break due to Covid 19, Magic Bike Rüdesheim finally took place again in mid-June. The legendary biker meeting has been taking place in the middle of the Rheingau for 20 years now. Several 10,000 visitors and great media interest have become a tradition.

Bikes and Music

The event promises four days of action packed Harleys, countless bikes and of course bikers.  And lots of real and mostly harder music. The big round trip and motorcycle parade are set as well as a fine selection of artists on three stages with headliners of distinction. In the past, these have included The Boss Hoss, Nazareth and the incomparable Suzi Quatro.

Regard the tattoos

Bikes and Tattoos

On and around the Magic Bike grounds, there was a lot to discover. Traders of bike accessories and clothes as well as freshly inked tattoo art. The abundant offer against hunger and thirst was only surpassed by the best summer weather.

Bikes and Metal

The stage highlight of the first day of the event was Doro Pesch‘s performance on the Main Stage. The Queen of Metal not only ensured a sold-out concert, she captivated the audience right from the first song “I rule the ruins“. With so much power and fun with the audience, with the guys of her live band, it was not surprising that the tent was already shaking at the beginning.

Bikes “Für Immer”

Many bikers, in their mostly black outfits, with shirts from Harley Davidson or their motorbike clubs celebrated with the metal queen. Doro sang her new and old songs even from the glory Warlock days. With “Burning the Witches“, “Fight for Rock“, and “East meets West” via golden oldie  “Earthshaker Rock“, “Soldier of Rock” and “Blood, Sweat and RnR“, Doro ensured a boiling atmosphere on and in front of the stage. A little quieter, but no less enthusiastic, was the fans’ response to her song “Für Immer” from her Warlock band days. Crashing and with an ingenious drum solo, it went on with “Hellbound“.

Bikes and Family

All fists in the audience went up when Doro asked them to sing along with “Raise your Fist“. That she enjoys audience and fans as her family with whom she likes to rock and celebrate could be felt at the latest during “You are my family“. After the “Metal Tango“, Doro and her band rocked the house with “Breaking the Law“, originally by Judas Priest, and “All we are” by Warlock. The audience was unstoppable and gave the band only a short breather until the encore.

Bikes and Encores

With the power of the audience, the sound of the guitars and the beats of the drums, Doro continued the concert with “All for Metal“, “Revenge“and “Evil“. The quaking didn’t want to end, “True as Steel“, “Metal Racer” and “Burn it up” followed as more encores. Doro lives The Metal Way Of Life as no other and loves to party with her audience. The final song, and still full of positive energy, was “Love me in Black“.

Bikes and Traditions

Not only since Steppenwolf, Easy Rider and “Born to be wild”, Bikers and Heavy Metal are associated. Just remember Rob Halford’s legendary bike rides during “Hellbent for leather” or Mötley Crüe’s video for “Girls, girls, girls”as two small samples. This magic night proved, the connection has lost nothing of its charm.
