Metalacker 2023 Announcement – Back into the Dark Woods

Within the last few years, music scenes outside the mainstream/pop world suffered heavily. Not only has the rise of streaming providers changed the business entirely, but pandemic and the need to make up for lost time pushes events into competition with each other for the attention of fans. Big festivals are canceling or even ending for good and lineups are becoming less impressive.

All the more exciting to see, that a local festival continues growing. Once again despite all the chaos happening, the Metalacker Festival Festival in Tennenbronn (German for “Metal Acre”) is providing us with a fantastic outlook. Finally, fans can return to the iconic landscape in the middle of the Black Forrest. In the middle of the dark woods, an idyllic green downhill landscape allows for a grand view of the festival site and stage as well as a crystal clear, wind protected acoustic. See last year’s review for a more in-depth description of what makes this festival and its location so unique.

Find below the lineup of this year’s Metalacker and make sure to get your tickets soon.
