It seems that spring has finally taken control of the weather and temperatures are rising again. For us, it is time for an update and some short May news.

April Art

Actually, we start the May news with some April (Art) news. Crossover/Alternative rising metal stars April Art played their first shows of the year at the end of April and announce a new song, “Jackhammer”, for May 10th. SETYØURSAILS

SETYØURSAILS will continue their double headliner Unite & Conquer tour together with Rising Insane from May 10th. So far the tour has been very successful with several sold out shows. Soulbound

Soulbound have just been on tour supporting Manntra on some of their shows. Now they announce their first headliner tour presented by NoCut Entertainment. Elvellon

German rising symphonic metal band ELVELLON will release their second album “Ascending in Synergy” on May 17th! It will be their first release since being signed to Napalm Records. Read our review soon! Here is a little teaser:

 

Bad Marilyn

MĀRA band

A few weeks ago Latvian MĀRA have decided to reunite again. Here is the statement of their vocalist Māra Lisenko: “Last year was a rough one, there were many ups and downs and one of biggest downs was ending of MĀRA band. It seemed like a least of the worst decision, but it was simply the worst. Whatever happens in the world and music industry, it’s all tough but we want to continue creating music no matter what.” Welcome back with a new song:

Heldmaschine

German Heldmaschine vocalist René Anlauff goes film. He plays the role of Vincent Oliver, the last and surviving victim of Karl Denke in the same named film. The film about this German serial killer and cannibal in the early 20th century was realised by independent filmmaker Heintje Peter and his team. Heldmaschine wrote the title track, so here is the video:
