Despite the muddy conditions, the family-friendly atmosphere and stellar lineup invites many fans to the Metalacker 2025 in the heart of the Black Forest.
It has been exactly a year since I last saw the headliners of tonight's show. Last year they were co-headlining with Rising Insane, on this Bad Blood tour they only have Lost in Hollywood as support. Of course I am talking about SETYØURSAILS and the charismatic singer Jules Mitch.
I must thank Jules for this interview and her time. It was a wonderful interview with a wonderful personality. Jules has a very open mind and an honest, realistic, down to earth point of view. She does not hold back her opinion in any case. And she has a lovely smile, something that some people might not imagine when Jules is on stage screaming out all the positive aggression of SETYØURSAILS' songs.
I first saw SETYØURSAILS last year and they surprised me with their fresh modern metalcore and impressive vocals. Their lyrics are in English and sometimes not for the faint hearted, as songwriter Jules doesn't hold back her thoughts in the slightest. The music is aggressive in the most positive way, but that is exactly what the audience expects and deserves.
It seems that spring has finally taken control of the weather and temperatures are rising again. For us, it is time for an update and some short May news.
Jules, André, Henrik, and Nicolai pulled all strings of their unique and aggressive style to climb the ladder to conquer the world with their honest and passionate lyrics and rough sound. I can only recommend giving this album more than “just a” listen, check the dates of SETYØURSAILS' upcoming tour.
SETYØURSAILS is a really interesting, promising and fresh band of four sympathetic musicians with a very impressive second album after their already powerful debut with “Enough” in 2018. Jules Mitch’s unique vocal style and personality surely dominates and carries the sound of both albums.
