Just like every year, the Oberndorf Easter Bunny puts on its black robe and hides some fantastic eggs to be found in the local Neckarhalle. This year, the Easter Cross Festival’s announcements are notably graced with decorative purple butterflies. And looking at the lineup, one might quite fittingly feel butterflies in their stomach. With the late surprise addition of Avralize, a versatile and brutal 15-band billing for the 4th and 5th April 2026 is complete.
On Saturday, we have Rage and J.B.O. at the helm of the agenda. Their contrast a fitting representation of the entire day, both in terms of bandwidth and extremes. Get ready for a heavy load of Power Metal, followed by the iconic pink wave of laughter and nonsense.
A similarly diverse lineup awaits us on Sunday. The traditional big Hardcore slot of the Easter Cross Festival taken up by American heavy hitters Ignite. And right after them a constantly rising star of the last couple years in terms of random bullshit comedy clad in Metalcore and Rap, TBS aka The Butcher Sisters.
In it’s entirety the lineup consists of J.B.O., Rage, Samurai Pizza Cats, Parasite Inc., Necrotted, Stepfather Fred and Defocus on Saturday and TBS, Ignite, Infected Rain, The Browning, Butcher Babies, Avralize, Stain The Canvas and The Defect on Sunday.
