Burning Witches – Inquisition
When Courtney Cox joined Burning Witches due to Larissa’s pregnancy, I knew this is the ultimate line-up for this Swiss metal band. I am therefore more than happy to review the band's forthcoming release “Inquisition” which is the first to feature Courtney as one of the two lead guitarists. Hopefully, there will be more to come in the future. Praising the excellent technical skills of the five musicians would be like taking coals to Newcastle. So, without further ado, let's check out the 12 tracks.

BonFire Rose on Higher Ground
I can easily count them as one of my heroes from my youth. Apart from a short hiatus in the late 90s, the band has been around since 1972, first under the name Cacumen and since 1986 as Bonfire. The new album “Higher Ground” release is set on 24th January, three singles have already been released and the tour of the same name has just started. Tonight they play the legendary 7er Club in Mannheim.
Face to Face with Mia Karlsson
I have already reported about the concert of The Gems at Aschaffenburg some time ago. Being a trio, they hired a legend as their tour bassist. None less than Crucified Barbara’s Mia “Coldheart” Karlsson. Spending the whole afternoon with the band included also an interview with Mia. So here it is, we sit down somewhere in the cozy artist’s area backstage.

It is the day of the concert of The Gems from Sweden at Colos-Saal, Aschaffenburg during their Phoenix over Europe headliner-tour. None less than Mia “Coldheart” Karlson joins them as live bassist! She will also be the support act with a short but impressive acoustic set.
Burning Witches – The Dark World Tour
It is impressive how much better Burning Witches become from album to album. The evolution of the band is amazing. Laura’s vocals were about perfect, rough and to the point, the result of endless practicing, experience, training and discipline. Every time a member left the band, no matter if for good or bad reasons, the next one made the band even better. Especially Courtney is such a gem in this case, a real jewel of a guitarist, precise to the point. I believe, she was the last brick, Burning Witches needed for the next couple of years. She fits perfectly.
Ronnie Romero – the legend on tour
Close your eyes while you listen to classics like "Child In Time", "Long Live Rock and Roll", "Stargazer" and so much more and you will realise, there is no difference to the original vocals. Welcome to legendary vocalist Ronnie Romero!
Fire Rose – Album Release Party
That is the perfect entertainment, a real Rock and Roll party. Usually, when a show is over and you got to go home, you leave after the last note or latest after buying your piece of merch or a CD. Not this time, Fire Rose join their audience immediately after the show.
