Sometimes, you have to think outside the box. For me, it's no different to how it is for everyone else. So, when my colleague Sarah told me that she now volunteers at a local festival, I started thinking about broadening the scope a bit, from purely metal festivals to a festival with a mix of music, diversity, inclusion and just plain fun.
The festival season of 2025 has already begun, with the calendar filling up with events each weekend. I have three festivals scheduled in a row, so it is no different for me:
First is Ulmich om Braand, located between Frankfurt and Fulda on the 20th and 21st of June. From there I will be heading to Rock & Metal Day’z at Oschersleben near Magdeburg, just 50 km away from my last festival on this tour. The festival runs from the 26th to the 28th of June, but I am part of the crew, so I will be there to help with setting up and taking down the festival during the week before and after. Finally, I will be heading to the Rockharz Festival in Ballenstedt from 2nd to 5th July.
It has been exactly a year since I last saw the headliners of tonight's show. Last year they were co-headlining with Rising Insane, on this Bad Blood tour they only have Lost in Hollywood as support. Of course I am talking about SETYØURSAILS and the charismatic singer Jules Mitch.
The festival season has just started. The weather conditions are still a bit uncertain. I remember spending very cold mornings and evenings on the campsite and infield in the past, even in summer. We have the perfect solution for you: Camping, food and drink stands and an indoor tent stage for the Ulmich Om Braand festival on 20. and 21. June 2025.
Read It's one of those days you've been waiting for a long time. Frozen Crown, a band I have been following for several years, are coming around on their first headlining tour. our report soon, Frozen Crown, supported by Fellowship and Lutharo rocking Colos-Saal/Aschaffenburg during the War Hearts-Tour.
The Rock & Metal Day'z, a charity event for children in need known far beyond the borders of Saxony-Anhalt, will enter its ninth year in 2025. There are two interesting changes this year to make sure it doesn't get boring.
This was indeed the right show to bring you back from hibernation. They had everything that makes a good show. Excellent musicians, pyro, a good selection of songs, almost three hours of headliner show and no fakes. Even the merch prices were not at the top end of the price scale. Everyone who was there got great value for money.
