Chatting with Nele and Gilbert of Elvellon

Time passed in a Flash

That’s a good word to close the interview. Thank you very much for your patience. I have overdrawn 20 minutes. Sorry about that.

N.: “It’s all right.”

Excuse me though. Thank you very much, I say. I had a great time. I hope it was tolerable for you too.

Both: “Yes, it was.”

The marathon continues tomorrow, right?

N.: “Yes, but we’re looking forward to it.”

Are you going to meet again tomorrow to celebrate the release and have a drink on it? A bottle of wine or beer?

N.: “I think most of us must work. In the evening of course, we’ll all be there on smartphones, laptops, whatever. And waiting for things to happen.”

Well, good luck for tomorrow. Thank you very much. And by the way, have a great Whitsun.

Both: “Yeah, you too. All right, bye. Bye.”

One Show to Watch

That was quite a long interview, 20 minutes longer than planned, but it was worth it and there was so much to say.  I would not have known where to cut it short. Did you like it? Check out the album and remember, there is a show at  Colos-Saal/Aschaffenburg on the 29th of July. Elvellon will be supporting none other than the a capella metal band Van Canto. We reviewed their latest release “To The Power Of Eight” a “little while” ago and interviewed Stefan Schmidt, their “Lower Rakkatakka Vocalist”. Check it out and consider a visit to this show a good plan for a mid-summer Monday evening. At least I will…
