After a visit to Basel's Christmas markets we get ready for Fire Rose' Finale Furioso at KIK Sissach, Heavy Metal, Lederhosen, Dirndl and Goasmass will rule the party hosted by Sarah and her great team!
It has become a tradition for me to finish my concert year with either Eisheilige Nacht or a Swiss band. This time, I can combine the two and spend the weekend near Basel with my two metal buddies. The first show we are going to see is the Eisheilige Nacht tour kick-off at the legendary Z7 in Pratteln.
No big words, just first pics of two great though very different Swiss events. Detailed reports will follow soon about Eisheilige Nacht and Finale Furioso!!!
Spooky vibes, a couple beers and a great lineup, helmed after a last minute change by Timeless Rage brings lots of people to the Heavy Halloween 2025 again.
It has become a tradition to celebrate the Eisheilige Nacht festivals in December. Subway to Sally came up with the idea in 2009 and so, here we are again in 2025, with nine concerts altogether in Germany and one in Switzerland, the opener. We will report on the start of the tour at Z7 Konzertfabrik in Pratteln on 12. December!
Tonight, we will be watching Ad Infinitum on their first headline tour. It was about time for the band anyway. Since the four musicians formed the band in 2018, they have constantly climbed the ladder of success, and are now one of the leading acts of the new generation of Symphonic Metal bands.
It had been a few years since I last saw Alestorm and was really looking forward to covering their show in Denver. Joining them were Gloryhammer and Glyph. Alestorm were touring supporting their new album, The Thunderfist Chronicles. I arrived at the Summit about a half hour before doors opened to a line of people down the block and around the corner.
