Sandra Peter reports about one of the most controverse, most discussed, most hated and loved at once artist of Germany’s metal scene. We leave all these aspects out and concentrate on the essentials of musical entertainment: A perfect show, because nothing else matters.
On Friday 12 June, after work, I'm off to Ulmbach for the UOB – Ulmich om Braand – festival at the Schützenhaus. I park the car at the campground and in the day-parking area, then make my way – a beer’s-length walk – to the festival site. It’s not exactly easy going; it’s been raining heavily over the last few days, so we’re faced with conditions reminiscent of Wacken.
I have just returned from the UOB (Ulmich om Braand) festival, which is held somewhere between Frankfurt and Fulda in a fantastic, picturesque setting. The festival experienced Wacken-style weather conditions on Friday, followed by a fantastic sunny but not hot Saturday, which dried up all the mud as well as possible. Anyway, before I talk too much, here are my first impressions of this two-days festival.
